Green Power Technology

eSharing has partnered with CyberPower, a leading manufacturer of uninterruptible power supply (UPS) systems and emergency power systems (EPS), to offer customers UPS and EPS products that drastically reduce power consumption and heat emission. The GreenPower UPS™ technology decreases energy costs and consumption and reduces the environmental impact caused by the UPS products. Furthermore, CyberPower manufactures environmentally friendly power protection products, with the use of non-hazardous material in its products. CyberPower complies with the Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) directives to ensure the reduction of environmental impact generated from the wasted CyberPower products. Furthermore, CyberPower products are RoHS (Restriction of Hazardous Substances) compliant restricting the use of certain hazardous substances, including Lead(Pb), Mercury(Hg), Cadmium(Cd), Hexavalent chromium (Cr6+),Polybrominated biphenyls (PBB), and Polybrominated diphenyl ether (PBDE) in electrical and electronic equipment. For easy identification, CyberPower has placed the RoHS compliant logo on each product packing, which represents the full compliance with the RoHS Directive as well as the manufacturing of eco-friendly product.

 

CyberPower products feature a high-frequency design that includes a compact energy-efficient inverter and charger. This ultra-efficient GreenPower UPS™ technology significantly reduces energy costs as it protects equipment from data loss and damage. In addition, CyberPower’s patented GreenPower UPS™ features a Bypass circuit design that reduces UPS energy costs by up to 75% compared to conventional UPS models. It efficiently bypasses the transformer when utility power is normal. As utility power is normal over 88% of the time, the GreenPower UPS™ operates primarily in its cost-reducing bypass mode.

Association for Forests, Development & Conservation (AFDC)

eSharing is a corporate sponsor of the Association for Forests, Development & Conservation (AFDC) in Lebanon whose mission is to achieve sustainable conservation of natural resources, raise awareness and build capacities to contribute to the national efforts for better environmental management through the pursuit of community-based conservation for the sustainable livelihoods of people. eSharing provides design, development, and operational services to AFDC for the organization's educational website at http://www.AFDCLearn.org.

Voyager Paper and Trees for Lebanon

eSharing is an active participant in the Trees for Lebanon campaign to re-forest Lebanon in partnership with Voyager Paper and the Association for Forests, Development & Conservation (AFDC). AFDC pledges to reforest Lebanon at a rate of 300 Hectares per year representing more than 150,000 trees per year. eSharing is selling Voyager Paper to its customers at cost to help make the Trees for Lebanon campaign successful.
